About Troop 207 – Boy Scouts of America

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Primarily the Helena area with some Scouts coming from surrounding areas such as Montana City, Clancy, and Canyon Creek.

Project / Needs

Troop 207 recently moved a new meeting location and needs funds to create a storage area for supplies and flags. The troop has grown in the last 12 years from 6 Scouts to 32 Scouts. This has caused a need for a lot more gear leading to the need for a larger storage trailer. The troop is replacing a 26 year old trailer with a new, larger, safer trailer to store their outdoor supplies in. Funds raised at this event would be used to purchase lumber and metal to build storage racks and shelves in the new trailer. The construction and labor will be donated.

Other Fundraising

Troop 207 is also holding other fundraisers at local restaurants such as Taco Johns and Panda Express. The troop participates in several yearly fundraisers at the fair, selling popcorn and selling Christmas trees.

How will the funds be used

Funds will be used to purchase the supplies needed to build storage racks and shelves in the storage trailer. The labor to build and install them will be donated.
