Project / Needs
The operations budget is about $320,000 and the staff of four along with the engineer and 3 students are paid from that. Also is the upkeep of the radio station–equipment wears out and must be updated, and we are digitizing our 65,000 cd library.
Besides our Fund Drive, we have underwriters that we thank on the air, and our Friends of KGLT has great events like the Vinyl Sale, Brunch at Pizza Campania, cocktails at the Mint in Belgrade, MacKenzie River Pizza nights, Montana Aleworks with two great events annually.
How will the funds be used
Friends of KGLT pays for or contributes to special projects:
1. Buying music to expand the library
2. Creating Matching amounts for the Annual Fund Drive
3. Buying equipment for the studio
