About The Two Tracks
The Two Tracks are a 4-piece upbeat Americana band out of Sheridan, Wyoming, that won best album of 2016 with their self titled Debut record, and have received additional acclaim for their 2017 Postcard Town release which was recorded by Grammy winner Sean Sullivan at the legendary Butcher Shoppe Studio (Sturgill Simpson’s latest was recorded there) in Nashville. The album was produced by Will Kimbrough who has worked with the likes of Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris, and Todd Snider to name a few.
The Two Tracks write and perform an addictive style of Americana, paying equal homage to bluegrass, rock, folk, and country styles, with tight harmonies, the additional intrigue of a cello in the mix, and a focus on lyrical songwriting. Country Standard Time writes: Vibrant harmonies and a knack for writing eager, infectious melodies guarantee them an ability to lock on to their listeners without any hesitation whatsoever…The Two Tracks’ music serves as a reminder that the ability to tap tradition can pay off with a sound that’s still contemporary in its delivery and insightful in its conception.”
And No Depression raves: “There is just enough twang in the music to make it country, and just enough rock to make it interesting. Lay the voices of Szewc and Huebner on top and it is a musical banana split of consequence…the harmonies neither too strong nor too light but just right.”
They performed at this years Red Ants Pants Festival, and NewWest Fest in Ft. Collins as well as headlining numerous Montana venues such as The Top Hat, Filling Station, Live from The Divide, and Pub Station.
