This juicy, unfiltered IPA was brewed using Maris Otter malt, white wheat, and flaked barley to give it a hazy appearance that’s light in color. We hopped this beer with Azacca, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops at several points during the boil. In post-fermentation, it was double dry hopped with a healthy dose of Azacca and Mosaic hops to give it a pineapple, grapefruit, citrus aroma followed by a dank tropical finish and a lingering bitterness that will continue to remind you it’s an IPA. This style originated in the NE and is known as a New England Style IPA. With our version of this style we pay tribute to one of the coolest towns in the North East corner of Montana and named it Plentywood IPA–a Northeast Montana style IPA.
It has an ABV of 5.9% and an IBU of 39 and is part of the limited release Expedition Series family of beers.
